What is glass wool?
Glass wool is a kind of glass fiber.
It uses natural ores such as quartz sand, limestone and dolomite as the main raw materials, together with raw materials such as soda ash and borax, to melt into glass solution.
In the molten state, it is blown by external force to form flocculent fine fibers.
The fibers and fibers are vertically crossed, intertwined with each other, and then cured with thermosetting adhesive, showing many small gaps, which can be regarded as pores.
Therefore, glass wool can be regarded as a multi hollow material with small volume density and good thermal insulation and sound absorption performance.
Its chemical composition belongs to glass, which is a kind of non mechanism fiber.
Therefore, it also has the characteristics of non combustion, corrosion resistance and stable chemical properties.
